Answer: C. Only three
The Non-Cooperation Movement (NCM) was the first nationwide movement launched by Gandhiji in 1920. Its programmes included:
I – CORRECT: Boycott of law-courts and foreign goods (including foreign cloth) was indeed part of the programme.
II – CORRECT: Observance of strict non-violence was a core principle of the movement.
III – INCORRECT: Surrender (not retention) of titles and honorary positions was part of the programme. Retention of titles was the opposite of what was required.
IV – CORRECT: National schools, colleges, and private panchayat courts were established as alternative institutions. Kashi Vidyapeeth, Bihar Vidyapeeth, and Jamia Millia Islamia were established.
Three items (I, II, and IV) were parts of the Non-Cooperation Programme → Option (c).
