Answer: C. 2 and 3
Verdict
Statements 2 and 3 are NOT correct, so the answer is Option (c).
Statement by statement
Statement 1 is correct: Uttar Pradesh shares boundaries with 8 Indian States (Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Bihar) plus the Delhi UT, the highest among Indian States. Since the question asks which statements are NOT correct, this statement does not qualify.
Statement 2 is incorrect: West Bengal, and not Rajasthan, shares the longest international border among Indian states. West Bengal shares an international boundary of about 2,217 km with Bangladesh, whereas Rajasthan's border with Pakistan is approximately 1,070 km.
Statement 3 is also incorrect: Although Sikkim shares its boundary with only one Indian state, namely West Bengal, it is not the only state with this feature. Meghalaya also shares its border with only one Indian state, i.e., Assam.
